McCue, the Northern Ireland fit-out specialist, has completed two premium suites and the triplebond wellness members’ club at The BoTree, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in central London. The two phases mark its second and third returns to the property, showing hotel operators re-appointing the same contractor across staged upgrades.

McCue is headquartered in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, and was founded in 1954. It reported turnover of £40.3 million and a pre-tax profit of £1.5 million for 2023.

The BoTree sits at 30 Marylebone Lane, where Marylebone, Mayfair and Soho meet, and has around 200 rooms. It is owned by Shiva Hotels, which finalised a £300 million refinancing of the property in February, and it joined Hilton’s Curio Collection in December 2025.

When the hotel opened in 2023, McCue fitted out the LAVO restaurant, the Peacock Alley Bar, the cinema, the front-of-house areas and 77 London, the basement nightlife venue. Those first interiors have since led to two further commissions in the same building.

The new suites extend the hotel’s signature accommodation, which is designed as private entertaining space, with each suite offering a lounge, a balcony and a personal bar. The commission sits alongside McCue’s suite work at Corinthia London.

Triplebond adds a wellness offer built around a rooftop pool and terrace, an infrared sauna, a salt room, a cryotherapy chamber, ice baths, a movement studio and a gym. Tonik Associates is the architect, and hotel residents can use the club through day passes or selected suite categories.

The structural driver is phased repeat commissioning, with The BoTree’s second phase of development giving McCue successive stages to deliver after its original opening scope.

The project also widens McCue’s hospitality work beyond restaurants, bars and suites into high-specification wellbeing space, a category that operators increasingly treat as central to luxury positioning.

For the sector, the BoTree programme shows luxury hotels extending their fit-out relationships into wellness rather than returning to the open market for each phase.
