Mark O’Connor Joins the Judging Panel of the Fit Out Awards 2025

The Fit Out Awards 2025 proudly welcomes Mark O’Connor, Managing Director and Co-owner of Marcon Fit-Out Ltd., to this year’s distinguished judging panel.

A highly respected figure within the fit-out and specialist joinery sector, Mark brings more than 30 years of experience delivering world-class interior projects across the UK and Ireland. Under his leadership, Marcon has become synonymous with precision craftsmanship, design integrity, and high-performance delivery, completing landmark projects across retail, hospitality, heritage, and commercial environments.

Renowned for his hands-on approach and strategic insight, Mark has played a central role in shaping Marcon’s reputation as one of the industry’s leading fit-out specialists. His work reflects a deep commitment to quality and collaboration, always ensuring that design vision and execution are aligned to create outstanding spaces. 

Beyond project delivery, he is widely acknowledged for fostering long-term client relationships and mentoring emerging industry talent, strengthening standards across the wider fit-out community.

The Fit Out Awards 2025 ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road. This annual black-tie gala brings together Ireland’s top design and fit-out professionals to celebrate creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship.

As part of the judging panel, Mark will bring his extensive experience, technical understanding, and commitment to excellence to the evaluation process, offering a valuable perspective on quality, innovation, and delivery across the shortlisted entries.

This year’s awards will feature a wide range of categories, including Fit Out Design Practice of the Year, Fit Out Contractor of the Year, Fit Out Sub-Contractor of the Year, Fit Out Designer of the Year, and Fit Out Designer of the Year – Rising Star, recognising achievement across all aspects of Ireland’s fit-out industry.
