Industry NewsWynn Resorts completes tower structure at Al Marjan Island resort and advances interior fit-out
US-based casino operator Wynn Resorts Ltd has completed the concrete structure for the signature tower at its Wynn Al Marjan Island integrated resort in the United Arab Emirates, moving the US$5.1 billion (€4.2 billion) project into full interior fit-out phase, SiGMA News reported.
The company announced 100 per cent of structural concrete for the tower has been completed, including structures for all guest rooms. The announcement follows the topping out of the 299-metre tower in December 2025, after structural concrete was completed through to the 71st floor roof.
With primary structural works finished, interior fit-out of guest rooms is underway alongside continued installation of mechanical, electrical and finishing works across the resort's accommodation inventory. Structural works have been completed for all 1,530 guest accommodations, including hotel rooms, suites, townhouses and Marina Estates, representing full structural completion of the total accommodation inventory.
Interior fit-out is progressing across all accommodation types, with elevators and escalators being installed throughout the property. Installation of the tower's structural steel roof crown has commenced, whilst façade works continue to advance. As of the latest update, 21,852 of the tower's 26,471 façade panels have been installed, representing 83 per cent completion.
Low-rise structures forming part of the wider resort development are nearing completion, with combined concrete and structural steel works now 99 per cent complete, accounting for 482,127 cubic metres of concrete poured and 15,162 tonnes of structural steel used to date.
The integrated resort is being developed on a 60-hectare artificial island in Ras Al Khaimah and is expected to open in spring 2027.
