Workman LLP relocates Birmingham team to newly fitted 4,500 square feet space

England-based commercial property management firm Workman LLP has relocated its Birmingham team to a landmark building in the city to support its growth, with the team moving to 4,500 square feet of newly fitted space at 19 Cornwall Street, situated in the heart of Birmingham's Colmore Business District, Insider Media reported.

The fit-out was completed by interior specialist Sandell Group, which completed the Cat B brief in just eight weeks. The fit-out was led in-house by Workman partners Paul Stanley and Tom Bates, with Sandell Group handling drawings and construction.

Stanley said the relocation presented a real opportunity to take a space from scratch and design it around the needs of the business. "We wanted somewhere people can collaborate, focus, and feel part of a growing team – a space that genuinely works for the way we work. All of that, combined with the green performance of 19 Cornwall Street, makes it the perfect base from which to grow our Birmingham team. We're really looking forward to our new chapter in the second city."

Nissar Khan, head of business development at Sandell Group, said high-spec Cat B fit-outs are the company's speciality. "High-spec Cat B fit-outs are our speciality, and we knew Workman had high expectations given the sector they work in," Khan said. "By working carefully alongside Workman throughout the design process, we were able to come up with a final blueprint that fulfilled their vision on time and to an excellent standard."

19 Cornwall Street is net zero carbon in operation, with 4,000 square feet of solar panels and smart building technology.
