Industry NewsWeWork India launches Rivet platform for enterprise office fit-outs and design-and-build services
India-based WeWork India has launched Rivet, an end-to-end design-and-build platform aimed at enterprises and global capability centres, marking the company's expansion beyond flexible workspaces into integrated workplace infrastructure solutions, Asia Business Outlook reported.
The new platform is designed to provide a single-contract model that combines office design, engineering and construction, simplifying the traditionally fragmented fit-out process for corporate clients.
Karan Virwani, managing director and CEO of WeWork India, said Rivet aims to replace conventional multi-vendor office fit-out systems by offering a unified service model. The platform integrates planning tools such as building information modelling and real-time site monitoring, enabling better project coordination, efficiency and transparency for large-scale enterprise office developments.
WeWork India has already executed design-and-build projects worth approximately ₹55 crore (€5.1 million) over the past 12 months across major business hubs including Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune. With Rivet, the company intends to scale this business segment and target large enterprises and global capability centres that require customised, technology-enabled office spaces.
To lead the new venture, WeWork India has appointed Arnav S Gusain as CEO of Rivet, whilst he continues to serve as chief supply officer at WeWork India. The company expects the new vertical to potentially contribute around 10 per cent of its total revenue in the coming years.
The launch reflects a broader shift within the flexible workspace industry, where providers are evolving into full-service real estate partners rather than simply offering shared office spaces. By expanding into design, construction and long-term workspace management, companies can capture a larger share of enterprise real estate spending.
The timing follows strong financial performance by WeWork India, which reported a ₹17 crore (€1.5 million) profit in the third quarter of FY26, with revenue rising 29 per cent year-on-year.
