Sue Corcoran continues to champion design excellence at the Fit Out Awards 2025
With over 25 years of experience spanning education and industry, Sue Corcoran brings deep expertise and passion to the judging panel of the Fit Out Awards 2025, returning as Judging Coordinator following her long-standing contribution to the programme since 2019.
A respected lecturer in the Department of Design at the Limerick School of Art & Design (TUS), Sue established the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme in 2018, now recognised as one of Ireland’s key academic pathways for future design professionals.
Her influence extends beyond the classroom as she serves as an external examiner, mentor, and active member of professional bodies including the Interior Educators (UK), The Interiors Association, and the Institute of Designers in Ireland, where she has also judged the Graduate Awards since 2022.
In addition to her academic leadership, Sue plays a vital civic role as Vice Chair of both the Limerick Civic Trust and Shannon Community Partnership, advocating for the integration of design thinking into community and cultural development.
Her continued involvement in the Fit Out Awards reflects a commitment to elevating design standards and celebrating the innovation that defines Ireland’s built environment.
The Fit Out Awards Gala will take place on 26 November 2025, recognising the nation’s most creative and impactful design projects. View the full judging panel and shortlisted finalists on the official website.
