Promera acquires Singapore's Data Clean Asia to establish Asia-Pacific data centre presence

US data centre services company Promera has entered the Asia-Pacific market through the acquisition of Singapore-based Data Clean Asia (DCA), a specialist in white space fit-out, containment installation and contamination control for mission-critical facilities.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Promera, a portfolio company of Angeles Equity Partners, said the transaction represents its first operation outside North America and forms the opening move in a broader international expansion strategy.

DCA's technical capabilities in containment design, manufacturing and installation directly complement Promera's existing contamination control and critical environment services. The combined offer targets hyperscale operators, colocation providers and enterprise data centre clients requiring consistent technical standards across global deployments.

"Our customers are building and operating data centres around the world, seeking a trusted partner who can deliver the same standard of technical excellence globally," said Brian Poplin, CEO of Promera. "DCA's expertise in containment installation and white space fit-out is exactly the capability we are building into the Promera platform as the first step of a broader international expansion."

Asia-Pacific is the second-fastest-growing data centre market globally, driven in part by surging demand for AI infrastructure. Singapore serves as a gateway to Southeast Asia for hyperscale operators expanding capacity across the region.
