Pearl Assurance House to welcome Belfast’s first Signature workspace

Belfast’s iconic Pearl Assurance House is set for a major transformation as the Rathbane Group partners with International Workplace Group (IWG) to launch the city’s first Signature-branded flexible workspace. Due to open in December 2025, the redevelopment will deliver premium office environments designed to meet the evolving needs of modern tenants.

The Signature brand—already known for prestigious addresses such as The Gherkin in London and 250 Park Avenue in New York—will bring global workplace standards to Belfast’s business district. Located opposite City Hall, the Grade A listed Pearl Assurance House will combine restored architectural heritage with high-end finishes and adaptive interiors, reflecting the growing demand for quality fit outs that merge design and functionality.

The reimagined building will feature private offices, co-working areas, meeting spaces and collaborative zones, each offering tenants the flexibility to tailor layouts through IWG’s Design Your Own Office service. This approach allows businesses to customise their workspace aesthetics, layout, and amenities while retaining the prestige of one of Belfast’s best-known addresses.

Mark Dixon, CEO and founder of IWG, described the project as “a much-needed footprint in Northern Ireland,” reinforcing Belfast’s role as a growing hub for business and innovation.
