Maples Group completes ‘multi-million euro’ renovation ahead of Irish staff relocation
Maples Group, which owns law firm Maples and Calder and financial services company MaplesFS, has completed a “multi-million euro” renovation of its 75 St Stephen’s Green office in Dublin.
The extensive refurbishment modernises the building, improves sustainability, and upgrades facilities to meet the needs of a contemporary workforce.
Following the refurbishment, all 550 Irish employees—Maples’ second largest office globally—are relocating from 32 Molesworth Street and other sites into the fully renovated premises. The move consolidates operations under one roof and strengthens collaboration and efficiency.
Peter Stapleton, managing partner of EMEA, described the completion of the renovation as a “pivotal moment” and part of the firm’s “long-term commitment” and growth plans in Ireland. He noted that the upgraded office supports operational excellence while aligning with the firm’s sustainability objectives.
The refurbishment comes after a December property transaction in which Blackstone retained 75 St Stephen’s Green as part of a portfolio deal with Starwood Capital Group. Business Post sources report the redevelopment cost several million euro, reflecting Maples’ investment in premium central Dublin office space.
Originally acquired by Blackstone in 2019, the building now features modern fit-outs, energy efficiency improvements, and flexible workspaces designed to support employee experience and productivity. The relocation into the refurbished office marks a strategic step in consolidating Maples’ Irish operations.
