International Workplace Group launches Regus workspace in Lisburn through property partnership

International Workplace Group plc has opened a Regus-branded flexible workspace at Linen Hill House in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, in partnership with building owner Turkington Group, according to the Belfast Telegraph.

The workspace addresses what IWG describes as a clear gap in the regional network, positioned strategically between Belfast and Newry to serve a broad base of office workers across the area.

Mark Dixon, CEO and founder of IWG, said the company is establishing a stronger footprint in Northern Ireland with the latest opening. "As an important business hub Lisburn is a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans," Dixon said. "We are very pleased to work with partners to develop the Regus brand under a management agreement that will add a cutting-edge workspace to their building."

The facility reflects growing demand for flexible and platform working arrangements, which Dixon said improves work-life balance and employee satisfaction whilst providing cost benefits to companies. "Our workplace model is proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs while providing access to thousands of locations," he said.

Gary Turkington, operations director at Turkington Group, confirmed the partnership represents the property investor's first Regus workplace. "As a long term property investor in the Lisburn area, we recognised that our space within Linen Hill House was an ideal opportunity to work with IWG," Turkington said.

The development operates under a management agreement model, allowing IWG to expand its presence whilst property owners retain building ownership. The workspace joins IWG's network of flexible office locations across Northern Ireland.
