Henry Brothers delivers major fit-out at Stechford police station

Henry Brothers, a contractor headquartered in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, has commenced a 16-month, £8 million refurbishment of Stechford police station in Birmingham.

The project represents the first comprehensive upgrade of the 1970s building, enhancing operational spaces and public-facing areas while demonstrating the firm’s growing expertise in high-specification fit-outs across the UK.

The refurbishment covers a wide range of improvements, including office modernisation, upgraded meeting facilities, enhanced refreshment and toilet areas, and bespoke locker rooms. Victim care spaces will be upgraded, the public contact office expanded, and new lift installations added to ensure full accessibility throughout the building. Additional parking and advanced safety and security systems are also included, reflecting a comprehensive approach to operational efficiency.

This project is Henry Brothers’ second fit-out contract with West Midlands Police under the Pagabo Refit and Refurbishment Framework, following a £9 million refurbishment at Wolverhampton Police Station that began in October 2025.
