The Fit Out Awards UK has announced its 2026 shortlist, naming finalists across 24 categories ahead of the awards gala on 24 September 2026 at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, with just under two months remaining until winners are revealed before hundreds of senior executives from across the UK fit out community.

The shortlist spans the full breadth of the sector, with finalists drawn from design practices, contractors, sub-contractors, project managers, and individual designers recognised for exceptional work across office, hospitality, retail, healthcare, public sector, tourism, leisure, and international project categories.

Sustainable fit out, excellence in collaboration, and fit out product innovation also feature among the contested categories, reflecting the growing priority the industry places on responsible and integrated delivery.

Entries were assessed by an independent judging panel coordinated by Ann-Marie Aguilar, SVP at the International WELL Building Institute. The 2026 panel brings together expertise from across the design, architecture, and built environment sectors, including senior figures from HOK, Studio Seilern Architects, Cardiff University, Loughborough University, the Society of British and International Interior Design, and Mamou-Mani, each bound by strict confidentiality agreements and conflict of interest protocols to safeguard the integrity of the process.

The Fit Out Awards UK is the premier annual celebration of exceptional fit out projects and the talented teams behind them, with past winners representing a cross-section of the industry's most notable leaders and projects.

The programme is supported by Gold Sponsors NOS and Amtico, with Amárach Research joining as Supporter. The Sunday Times serves as the official Communications Partner, with awards night coverage published across its digital platform.

The Fit Out Leader and Fit Out Project of the Year awards will be announced exclusively on the night of the ceremony.
