Carraig Donn reopens refurbished Crescent Shopping Centre store as part of nationwide expansion

Irish lifestyle retailer Carraig Donn has reopened its refurbished store at Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick following a redesign that forms part of the company's multi-million-euro expansion and development programme for 2026.

Carraig Donn reports that the Limerick store, which has traded at the Crescent for over 25 years, has been redesigned to deliver a brighter, more contemporary shopping environment spanning women's fashion, premium jewellery, accessories, gifts and home décor. The refurbishment represents a significant investment in the customer experience at one of the retailer's long-established locations.

A grand reopening event is scheduled for 18 June at 11am, featuring exclusive opening-day offers with savings of up to 50 per cent, a complimentary goodie bag with purchases of €60 or more, and a special appearance from social media influencer Lauren Egerton.

The Limerick reopening is one component of a broader period of expansion for the retailer. New stores are planned at Donaghmede Shopping Centre in Dublin and Wilton Shopping Centre in Cork later this year, while existing locations at The Square Tallaght, Omni Shopping Centre Santry and Whitewater Shopping Centre Newbridge are all set to relocate to larger units over the summer.

Carraig Donn is also investing in digital infrastructure, including enhanced omnichannel shopping capabilities, improved online services and further development of its customer loyalty programme.

The growth programme builds on a strong recent trading period for the retailer. Its Golden Island Shopping Centre store in Athlone was named Best Fashion Store 2024 at the Retail Excellence Ireland Awards, underscoring the brand's standing within the Irish retail sector.

Founded in the west of Ireland, Carraig Donn has traded for over 60 years, now employs more than 600 people and operates 43 stores nationwide, with a growing online presence serving customers both domestically and internationally.
