AtkinsRéalis has opened its newly refurbished Irish head office at Airside Business Park in Swords, Co Dublin, supporting more than 300 staff working on major infrastructure projects. The multi-million euro upgrade follows a period of rapid growth for the company in Ireland, where its workforce has expanded from around 370 employees in 2024 to more than 750 today.

AtkinsRéalis, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, and listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, is a global engineering and project management group that reported group sales of around CA$11 billion in 2025.

In 2024, the company set a target of growing its Irish headcount to around 1,000 by 2030, and has since acquired Galway-headquartered consultancy TOBIN, adding approximately 200 employees and expanding its regional footprint and capabilities.

The new head office, AtkinsRéalis House at 150 Airside Business Park, spans approximately 1,291 square metres of open plan office space, meeting rooms, tea stations and breakout areas. The company also maintains offices in Cork, Galway and Dundalk.

Staff at the Swords office work across Irish Rail's DART+ programme, Transport Infrastructure Ireland's road network and Dublin's Metrolink, Uisce Éireann's Water Supply Project, Dublin Airport Authority's airport portfolio, and onshore and offshore wind projects supporting EirGrid.

The structural driver is consolidating a rapidly scaled Irish workforce, grown through organic hiring and the TOBIN acquisition, into a single expanded head office to support delivery across transport, energy, water and buildings and places infrastructure programmes.
