Ann Marie Aguilar brings global expertise to the Fit Out Awards Judging Panel

The Fit Out Awards 2025 will once again showcase the best in workplace and design innovation, with the judging panel comprising some of the most respected leaders in the built environment. 

Among them is Ann Marie Aguilar, Senior Vice President at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), whose career reflects deep expertise in environmental sustainability and well-being.

Since joining IWBI in 2016, Aguilar has played a pivotal role in advancing the WELL Building Standard across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. From her base in London, she leads business development and technical initiatives, serving as a trusted adviser to clients and design teams adopting WELL Certification. 

Her ability to align international standards with local rating systems has been central to the successful integration of WELL into diverse markets.

Aguilar’s work has not only facilitated the uptake of WELL across the UK, Ireland and continental Europe but also expanded its influence through partnerships with BRE, Green Building Councils and other market leaders. Her strategic leadership in research, education and recruitment has further strengthened IWBI’s global presence.

With her international perspective and commitment to excellence, Aguilar is set to bring exceptional insight to this year’s awards. The Fit Out Awards Gala will take place on 26 November 2025.
