Rowan Watson

Lecturer, Architectural Design & Interior Architecture and Design, IT Sligo

Rowan is an architect with eighteen years of involvement in Interior Architectural education. She is currently the programme chair of the BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design at the Institute of Technology Sligo. Rowan’s professional practice focuses on design/build and interdisciplinary arts-based practices. Rowan is currently reading for a practice based PhD at The University of the West of England that employs practices from the fields of Architecture and Dance to investigate the generative relationship between physical movement within place and architectural imagination, Rowan is involved in co-developing projects that inspire and immerse students in design through craft and direct, embodied responses to place.
