Rowan is an architect who lectures at the Yeats Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, ATU- Sligo, on the BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design and MA in Creative Practice. Her professional practice focusses on design/build and interdisciplinary arts-based practices., and she is reading for a practice-based PhD at BCU that employs practices from Architecture and Dance to investigate the generative relationship between physical movement within place and architectural imagination.  As a lecturer Rowan is involved in co-developing projects that inspire and immerse students in design through craft and direct, embodied responses to place.
