Sue Corcoran is Programme Leader on the BA (Hons) in Interior Design at the Limerick School of Art & Design at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest. Sue has over 25 years of experience in the design sector with a wide and varied portfolio of projects at home and abroad. Sue’s academic background includes fine art, painting, interior architecture, urban design, and art and design education. Sue’s current role in design education allows many aspects of her career to date to come together. This diversity in industry and education equips Sue with the expertise to foster best practices in design education. Sue continues to be involved in interior and spatial design projects giving her time pro bono to charities, and not-for-profit organisations, helping them improve their spaces for their users, an area she is passionate about.
