Fit Out Designer of the Year

Fit Out Designer of the Year

This award is open to any individual working in a fit out / interior design firm, architecture practice, or in-house fit out / interior design team, who has played a key design role on a top class fit-out project completed over the past 12 months.

The designer can be nominated by themselves or by a third party, but please ensure you have their permission to do so.

There are two ways you can enter:

1. If the candidate played a key design role in a project submitted to any of our Fit Out Project categories, then address the first two criteria points below in a 1-page A4 PDF (MAX) and merge this with the Project submission: only 1 PDF can be accepted.

2. Address each of the criteria listed below in a clear and written manner within a 5-page A4 PDF submission, backed up by photos (4 minimum), laying out any additional information - plans, section drawings, tables, graphics, videos etc. - so that it is easy to understand.

Criteria:

  • Please include a summary that describes your career to date, and qualifications.

  • What has been the real stand-out highlight for you in the last year? If you have done anything especially innovative make sure you explain this too.

  • Please provide a description of the fit-out project(s) worked on over the past 12 months including the brief, dates of commencement and completion and the contract value.

  • Highlight any especially challenging aspects or innovations involved in the project(s) and include a brief description of them where relevant.

  • Supporting Facts & Testimonials: Please include any other statements or facts that support your entry, including client testimonials if possible.
